The hotel has maintained an overall good rating of 4 stars on sites like expedia. However, we were able to find a few complaints about the existence of bed bugs. A traveller named Dorothy posted a review on expedia claiming she dealt with bed bugs in her stay, and had a really hard time claiming the refund on her payment.
Another traveller was found sharing her experience with bed bugs at The Creekstone Inn in the FAQ section She said she saw bed bugs on the pillow before going to sleep. They also found blood stains on pillows which they later showed to the management. He was able to get a refund on his night stay after making the management aware of the situation. What he managed to find was a big brown bed bug under his mattress. He immediately reported this bed bug to the front desk. After which he was offered to stay at a different hotel which he accepted.

A traveller rated the hotel with one star stating he was moved to a different room after he identified the first one to be infested with bed bugs. The new room had other types of bugs crawling on the microwave and walls behind it. Barbara, a traveller who visited the place in 2017 posted her experience with bed bugs at the hotel on expedia. She mentioned the rooms being clean and the staff being really friendly. However, one night she found bed bugs crawling on her bed from underneath. Which made her leave the place. No instances of refunds claimed were mentioned by her.

And so far has not received any compensation from the motel. Replying to her concern, the motel denied the allegations stating they do not have any report for such an incident.

This family owned 2 star hotel is set alongside the Little Pigeon River. It’s within an 8 minute walk from the LeConte Convention Center and a 2 minute walk from the Smoky Mountain Car Museum.
The affordable sites at Willow Brook Lodge offer all luxury commodities including kitchens and fireplaces, flat screen TV’s, coffee makers and free wifi.
A visitor at Willow Brook posted her experience with the hotel. She along with her family had a 4 night stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and the rooms were doing good until she found a bed bug crawling on her daughter on the fourth night. She was offered to exchange rooms, but she declined because they were going to check out the next morning and 2 of her children were already asleep.
The night manager was kind enough to offer to wash all of their belongings to get rid of any potential bed bugs. But the offer was rejected due to the hassle.

A few reviews on expedia mention bed bug presence in the hotel. A visitor of Holiday Inn wrote that he found a bed bug in his room, Which he showed to the management. He mentioned that it was downplayed by the management, and they insisted on shifting to a different room.

Western Plaza Inn is a simple yet affordable 2 star hotel located only 4 miles away from the Titanic Museum and 3 miles from the Dollywood Amusement park. It is only steps away from Stampede dinner show and just a trolley ride away from the popular city of dollywood.
A bed bug report was filed for the King Suite 301 at Best Western Plaza by the visitor. However, according to the reviewer. The manager tried to convince him that it was a roach or a carpet beetle. There were also no bed bug protectors in the room, which the manager claimed have been removed on the orders of the corporates.
