The rooms have a warm and cozy environment with free wifi, flat screen TV and pull-out sofas in some rooms.
You will find many bed bug complaints on bedbugregistry.com about this hotel. One reviewer wrote, she stayed in room 928 and woke up at 3 am when she felt like something was crawling up on her body. She caught one of the bugs and found another dead one next to her pillow. She reported both bed bugs at the front desk.
Hilton New Orleans Riverside Bed Bug Complaints
The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is a conventional hotel less than 2 miles from I-10 and an 18-minutes walk from the French Quarter.
Standard Rooms come with all basic amenities. Upgraded room will get you river views, along with free gym, breakfast and wifi. Studio rooms will get you mini-fridges and sitting areas. While upgraded suites have a lot more to offer including living rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows.
A review posted on tripadvisor states that the Hilton hotel has severe bed bug issues. The visitor mentioned they found damp patches on carpet along with a musty smell once they entered the room, but they did not give it much thought. On the second evening, her husband had already got 30 odd bed bug bites on his torso, and she had started to see some bumps on her face already.
When reported to the management, they only managed to change their room in compensation.

An anonymous traveler posted his travel experience at SpringHill Suites Downtown. He stayed at the hotel for seven nights. His body had bed bug bites after the very first night. After which the staff moved him to a different room. However, they refused to admit that the bites were from bed bugs.

The Saint Hotel New Orleans Bed Bug Complaints
The Saint in New Orleans is an upscale 4 star hotel located a mile away from the iconic cafe Du Monde and only 2 blocks away from Bourbon Street.
The hotel has a colorful vibe with exposed bricks, marble bathrooms, free wifi, flat screen TV’s with premium channels. Upgraded suites will get you freestanding tubs, sitting areas and vaulted ceilings.
A visitor at The Saint Hotel posted about her stay at tripadvisor. She mentioned the rooms were not clean and she could feel her whole body itching after the very first night at the hotel. She had bites on her arms and legs. When she wanted to report this to the manager, he was not available.
Le Richelieu New Orleans Bed Bug Complaints
The Le Richelieu Hotel is located among the creole townhouses of the French Quarter. The hotel is a 7 minute walk away from the S.T Cathedral and only 2 blocks away from the Bourbon Street NightLife.

A bed bug report was filed against the hotel at the bed bug registry. According to the visitor, he stayed in an executive suite at the hotel. In the middle of the night, he woke up itchy with bed bugs everywhere on the bed. He immediately reported it to the management which moved them to a different room that did not have the same issue.

The Hyatt Place is a modern hotel located in the downtown arts and warehouse district. It is only a 7 minute walk away from the WW2 Museum.
The rooms are airy and give an elegant vibe. Standard rooms come with all standard features including free Wifi, Flat screen TV’s, minifridges and coffee makers. Bathrooms feature designer toiletries, and some rooms pull-out sofas and work areas.
A visitor at Hyatt Place posted his bed bug nightmare at the Hyatt Place New Orleans. He woke up at 4am itching due to bed bug bites. Once he turned on the lights he was shocked to see the comforter and pillow studded with bed bugs. They found a bed bug on his friend’s queen bed as well. After escalating the matter to the management they were transferred to a different room.
Staybridge Suites New Orleans Bed Bug Complaints
Hotel Staybridge Suites has been reported many times for bed bugs in the past. A visitor posted a bed bug report on the bed bug registry stating he stayed in room 304 and was flooded with bed bug bites the next morning they woke up.
He immediately reported this to the management and they did not seem to be surprised at all. After getting back home, they were enraged to see other visitors posting the same kind of reviews for the same room, and the management still put them in the same room without treating the room for bed bugs.

The Loft 523 is a 3 star chic hotel located 7 minutes away from Harrah’s Casino and only 6 minutes away from the vibes of the extic Bourbon street.
The hotel has 16 rooms all of which have Italian furnishing, contemporary decor and limestone baths with walk-in tubs. The rooms come with free Wifi, Flat Screen TV’s and premium HD channels.
The hotel was reported for bed bugs on tripadvisor by a couple who visited the place on their wedding anniversary. He mentioned her wife felt something crawling on her hair. They switched on the lights and found a couple of bed bugs crawling. Upon further inspection they were able to find 50 + bed bugs in the headboard.
The reviewer did not mention if any compensation was provided by the hotel.
Hotel Le Marais New Orleans Bed Bug Complaints
The Le Marais chic hotel is 8 minutes walk away from the historic Jackson square and only half a block away from Bourbon Street.
Sophisticated and sleep rooms would get you free Wifi, flat screen TV’s, ipod docs and walk in showers. Upgraded rooms will get you balconies views out in the city.
A visitor at Hotel Le Marais posted his experience with bed bugs. He wrote that he saw some bed bugs after checking in the room, but disregarded them as fleas. The next morning he woke up with bed bug bites all over his body along with his friend.
